Project Rampage - Part 1 - The Brakes

Its time to start the work on my 1984 Dodge Rampage. We are going to start by getting it up on stands, get the hood off, and then start on the rear brakes.

We are going to start with the rear drum breaks because I know that they need work. I have driven the car a few times, and stopping has not been one of its strong suits. The last time I did any work on drum brakes was back in the ’90s so this will be a good learning experience and bring back some fond memories I am sure (NOPE). Let’s see how far I get with these things…

Its pretty clear by the cob-webs in here that these brakes haven’t done much braking in a long time.
